10 Things to Know About Amanda!

1.       Amanda has called Cambridge her home since she was 4 years old. Her parents still live in the same house she grew up in.
2.       Amanda has been a full time Realtor for almost 5 years.   She won the “Rookie of the Year” award for the most sales in her first year. She has also won the “Award of Excellence”
3.       Amanda has worked at Prudential Grand Valley Realty since she received her license in May 2007. She chose Prudential because of their hands-on training and their commitment to service.
4.       Amanda received her degree in Communication Studies with the Urban Studies Option from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2005.
5.       Amanda has been dating Keith for 3 years. He is an Registered Planner & Urban Designer who is also a Golf Course Designer, who has built some of the best golf courses in Canada including Sage Brush (Quilchena, BC) and Cabot Links (Inverness, NS)
6.       Amanda lives in an older home.  She purchased this 'fixer-upper' a few years ago because it had great potential.   There are a few projects left to do, but many things have been done. In her spare time, she works on the house. She enjoys keeping current on home trend and would happy to let you know what you can do to improve the value of your home.
7.       Amanda has a dog, Jagger, whom she adopted from the Cambridge & District Humane Society. He is a mutt; a mix between a Cairn Terrier and a wire haired Daschund. He is named after Mick Jagger...he definitely moves like Jagger as he wiggles a lot.
8.       Amanda is the writer and editor of the website “365 things to do in Cambridge.” Where every day there is a post about something to do in the city. If you haven’t been to the site, you should check out the website and  follow on Facebook and Twitter. This is her way of giving back to the city she loves.
9.       Amanda also blogs about things she has done on her website, www.AmandaMaxwell.com. There you will find everything from movie reviews, restaurants she has been to and the odd post about real estate.
