We Support The Sunshine Kids

    Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. adopted the Sunshine Kids as a network-wide charity in 1991. The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, the Foundation is committed to providing quality group activities and emotional support for Kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America. The Sunshine Kids’ mission is to “…provide exciting, positive group activities for children with cancer, so they may once again do what Kids are meant to do… have fun and celebrate life!”

    The Sunshine Kids Foundation operates solely from the support of private and corporate donations. Prudential Grand Valley Realty has supported Sunshine Kids since its inception in Canada. Many agents make donations on each transaction they do, and donate their time to run fundraisers such as the mini golf tournaments, walkathons, and garage sales. Through 2008, Prudential Grand Valley Realty has raised over $105,000 for Sunshine Kids.

     I am proud to say that our 6th Annual Mini-Golf Tournament for The Sunshine Kids took place on Friday November 12th, 2009 and raised $13,500 with the support of our many sponsors and participants!  Between our Cambridge and Kitchener offices for 2010, we will donate over $26,000 to The Sunshine Kids.
