I have lived in Cambridge almost my entire life. It is a wonderful community, and a fabulous place to call home. I was educated at three of the fine schools we have in the city. I then went on to Wilfrid Laurier University where I got my Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with the Urban Studies option. I took the Urban Studies option because I have always had a passion to pursue a career in real estate and I felt that understanding cities and the way they work would be beneficial to my career. After university, I traveled and then took a sales job working at Frito-Lay as a Large Account Sales Representative. This allowed me to gain valuable sales experience which has helped me become successful in real estate. For my first year in real estate I was awarded Prudential Grand Valley Realty's "Rookie of the Year" for selling the most housing units. This was a great honour because there were so many excellent agents who also started that year.
I am very much involved within the Prudential office, as well as The Real Estate Board of Cambridge. One of the committees I sit on at Prudential is our "Sunshine Kids Mini-Golf Tournament" committee. This is the group that organizes, sets up, and runs our yearly event which raises thousands of dollars for this great cause. I am also an active member of The Real Estate Board of Cambridge, sitting on the Public Relations committee from 2008-present. We are the committee that runs charity and social events within the board. Last year we raised thousands of dollars for various charities including Argus House, Brothers and Sisters, Lisaard House and The Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank.
I pride myself on providing personalized service to my clients. I get to know them on a personal level and they get to know me personally as well. Let me start off by sharing a few personal things about myself. In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my boyfriend, Keith. We love to go out and have fun whenever we can, which I try to blog about on my website to give readers ideas of fun local things to do. I am an art enthusiast, amateur photographer and classic rock lover. I have a passion for travelling, having seen most of Europe and Australia, and would one day like to see everything this amazing world has to offer. I love hearing about trips clients have been on because it gives me new ideas of places to go. I always have a positive attitude and am most always seen with a smile on my face, which I hope makes my clients feel at ease while they work with me.
