Lunching at The Blackshop

Updated Wednesday, February 23, 2011  ::  Views (977)

Today I met up with Jeff Attwooll, a local mortgage agent, for lunch at The Blackshop in Cambridge.  We were brainstorming, talking about business and how 'the spring market seems to have come early this year.  I think it is always good to get the perspectives of others in the industry and think it is important to maintain close relationships with key contacts with whom I do business.

It was Jeffs idea to go to The Blackshop for lunch, and I must say, I have never been disappointed when I have dined there.  I had the soup of the day, which was a carrot, cumin and orange soup.  It was phenomenal.  The atmosphere is always great, and ofcourse, so was the company.

Most people think of The Blackshop as a lunch or dinner place.  A few months back my friend Frank, who is better known as "The Snap Guy" since he is the owner/publisher of SNAP Cambridge, celebrated his bithday there.  A few friends went out for drinks, appetizers or desserts to celebrate his birthday.  We sat in the lounge area at the bar and had an awesome time.  It is a great place for a simple, laid-back night out or an exceptional lunch or dinner.
