Hot Rocks (The Rolling Stones Tribute) at The Groove Kitchen

Updated Sunday, April 4, 2010  ::  Views (1155)

This past weekend I learned that a Rolling Stones tribute band was coming to The Groove Kitchen in Preston.  I knew Keith, who is a big Stones fan, would be all over it, so we went.  We didn't have a reservation, so we went quite early for dinner but I must say the waitress was very nice and the food was great (I had the Ravioli). The place filled in and was standing room only once 10pm rolled around and the band came on to play.  I must say, they did an awesome job.  The guy who portrayed Mick Jagger looked just like him, and had all his moves down pat.  It was great and could be a relatively inexpensive night out costing just $10 for cover per person.
