I love the Beatles, so when Keith found out that "Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles" was coming to Toronto, he made sure to buy us tickets. I have to say it was excellent. All the actors/musicians who portrayed the John, Paul, George and Ringo did an excellent job. The man who portrayed Paul McCartney sounded identical to him, it was incredible. They started at the beginning or their career and went to the end, singing many hit songs(and some rare ones) and wearing replica's of the clothes they wore during the various phases. It was really well done, and highly recommended to all Beatle fans.
They were only here for this past weekend, but will be returning to the Canon Theatre this July/August. If you're thinking about going to see it, I would suggest buying the cheaper tickets because the further away you are, the more the actors will look like them! We were at the very back and both of us thought that added to our experience because it didn't look like someone portraying them, it actually looked like them.
